Beta Club Requirements for 2009-2010

Requirements:

*        Must attend 5 out of 9 meetings

*        Complete 2 community service projects

*        One school related service project

*        Participate in food drive or bring in toy for tots

*        Bring in food item for teacher appreciation in April

***All members completing requirements by April 22 are eligible for spring trip to Dollywood on May 5, 2010.***

Meetings:

 Sept. 1____, Oct. 6___, Nov.3____, Dec. 1____, Jan. 5____, Feb. 2____, Mar. 2_____, Mar. 30_____, Apr. 13_____

***First Tuesday of Each Month unless otherwise noted. ***

Nashville Requirements---7^th & 8^th Graders ONLY

***Convention in November-approximate cost $150***

    Must be a member in good standing from previous year

          -Can not be on probation (semester honor roll)

-No major discipline problems (no out of school or in-school suspension and can not have multiple N's or
      U's in conduct) in the current year or from the previous year.

-Must have completed all requirements from previous year

Must participate in an activity or event---Examples are:

-Academic competitions

-Arts and crafts

-T-shirt

-Tower of Power

***Competitions will be held to determine who participates in these events.***
