Component 1 committee members met on January 16, 2005 for the first time.  The meeting was one and half-hours long.  The following members were present:

In this meeting we discussed an overview of the purpose of component 1 and the information that we needed to gather.   We looked at each component and discussed possible examples of information that would fit each objective.  We then divided the individual objectives amongst ourselves and decided on a meeting time to bring back our sections for review.

In this meeting we discussed the information everyone had gathered and we each read over our section.   We looked at each component and discussed what needed to be added or taken away from each section.  We ended the meeting by deciding who would be putting the document together and where to put the files.
