 Our initial meeting resulted in an overview of the accreditation process. We reviewed our four citizenship standards and looked back at our last five-year plan. We divided who would be responsible for which standard, and we began the process.

 We reviewed what each group member was responsible for under each standard, and we started to place gathered documents in the appropriate folder.

 
November 1, 2005

Present: Dennis Chambers, Mike Lee, Jim Bingham, Jim Bradley, and Laura Leonard

 We accomplished much today as we met with Mrs. Leonard, and she advised us on what was needed to complete this process and helped us organize our folders on the computer. We sorted the additional documents brought to this meeting, and we went to the library and placed these papers in the appropriate standard folders. We also organized charts to show what each standard folder contains.

 We went over all four citizenship standards with our two student members and explained the SACS review process.

 
December 6, 2005
3:20 – 4:05 p.m.

Present: Dennis Chambers, Mike Lee, Tasha Pitsenbarger (parent representative), and Kati Blalock (parent representative)

 We met in the Sevierville Middle School library with our 2 parents and went over all of the 4 domains in our standard and the materials that we have gathered that pertains to each area. Both parents were very positive and are now familiar with Standard #9.
