Minutes for 9-19-05
• Overview of SACS and Standard 6
Southern Association colleges and schools (SACS) set quality standards for accreditation to apply to all public schools. Accreditation means that schools are implementing research-based practices. Standards were set from research and the best practices of effective schools. Our committee will be gathering evidence to prove that we meet standard 6- Resources.

• Break up standards for committee members to begin generating ideas and creating outline of what documents we need to fulfill each standard.

• Meet and greet. Introduce committee members.

Minutes for 11-11-05
• Overview of SACS.
• The committee brought together documents that were to be placed in the 6.20 section of Standard 6.
• More assignments were given and the committee will meet again on Friday, November 18 to bring more evidence.

Minutes for 11-18-05
• The committee reviewed the lists of documents needed and signed off on the documents that were finalized and placed in the crate.
• Documents were highlighted and assigned to different committee members to gather.

• Folders were finalized and signed off.
• Folder 6.20 was organized and labeled.
• The summary was critiqued.
