Standard 4 Meeting Notes
 

September 21st, 2005
7:30 a.m.

 The group met to divide the standards evenly so each person could focus on a few selections.  I told them that the administrators could help us if we could not find some type of documentation or did not understand exactly what we were looking for to put with that particular standard.
 

October 19th, 2005
7:30 a.m.

 We put all of our artifacts/documents into our file.  We completed the box and made sure everything was in the correct order.  We worked well together and got the job done.

December 1st, 2005
7:30 a.m.

 We met with all members who could attend including students and parents.  We discussed each standard with them and told them the meaning behind our doucment/artifact finding.  All parties had a better understanding of the Standard 4 on instruction.

• Committee discussed information that had been gathered already and discussed that it needs to be put into narrative form
• Committee looked at and discussed the rubric that will be used
• Laura explained that TSIPP is the third component of SACS
• Day and Cameron volunteered to look into resource allocation
• Information is to be placed on the shared folder under component #4 and Andy Lomardo will proofread and put it all together
• Parents were asked to talk to other parents about programs at different schools and ways to get parents involved
