We realize that we are waiting on other committees for a part of our work, however we are able to develop a plan for increase in parent and community involvement. We need specific ideas that can be and are staff willing to involve and welcome others into our school. Some ideas are:
Laura said that in the shared
folder the surveys parents took are available to view for ideas on how
they want to be involved.
She also encouraged the web
page saying in the month of December we had more than 10,000 hits outside
of the school system.
A reminder to all to keep
up those WebPages
We recognized what action
steps are for our documentation and that we will create action steps for:
Math, English, Science, and Social Studies, and Community Involvement.
Community/Parent involvement
requires building a relationship of trust between staff and parents to
make problem solving easier as the year progresses.
The Timeline section of our
documentation MUST BE FOLLOWED THROUGH!
Based on Parent Surveys
School wide input/surveys
Administration approval
*Need to come up with top 10 actions for improvement by using surveys to get approval from administration.
Our Next Meeting is Thursday
1/28 at 3:15
Need input from staff about
ideas for communication
