To insert a textbox go to insert-textbox or click on the icon in the drawing tools. If you do not see this icon then go to view-toolbars-drawing and make sure it has a check in the box.

You can make your text boxes look differently by clicking on the line style icons in the drawing tools. These can make your lines thicker or dashed. You can even change the color of your line by clicking on the line color icon.

To search for information on your destination go to google.com and type in where you want to go. Wikipedia.com is also a great resource to use for information. It displays what you are looking for in outline format.
