Activities:


 

Lab                                       

 

  • While in the computer lab the 8th grade students will be working on keyboarding skills. It is important that students develop, master and utilize proper keyboarding techniques. The first 15 minutes of class time is dedicated to developing these skills.

  • While in the computer lab the 8th grade students will also learn to use:
    1. Office Tools
    2. Graphic Editing Tools
    3. Internet (for research)

  • Students will construct webpage using Composer. The page(s) will address an area of study at SMS. The pages will contain links, images, and text.

  • Students will be expected to use the Internet in their regular classrooms as well as the computer lab to do advanced research on projects and present their findings to their classmates.
