I am Tony Nichols.  I have been a Sevier County native all of my life.
I attended Sevierville Middle School during my middle school years which were 1978-1981.  I graduated Sevier County High School in 1985 and attended Walters State Community College for 3 years(1985-1988).  I
completed my college career at East Tennessee State University(1988-1990)
and received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.

I began my teaching career at Pigeon Forge Middle School in 1990
where I taught 5th grade.  I received many honors during my stay at "Tiger
Country".  I was selected as Sevier County Middle School Teacher of the Year in 1999-2000.  In 2002, I was selected as Teacher of the Year for the
Tennessee Association of Middle Schools(TAMS).  I feel very honored and blessed upon receiving both of these awards.

I do work at Walters State Community College in the evening.  I began in 1997 and continue to educate adults of our community.
