2014-2015 Parent Involvement Survey

Title I schools have the opportunity to tailor programs based on the needs of their students and parents.  This survey is your opportunity to share what parents need when it comes to educating their children.  Your input is extremely impotant.  The survey will be used by your school's Title I Planning Team in developing the Parent Involvement Policy, School-Parent Compact, and Calendar of Parent Events.  Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey.

2014-15 SMS Yearbook is on sale for $40.  Reserve your copy today.  Return yearbook form to the library - make sure your grade and homeroom teacher is listed on the form.  Make checks payable to Sevierville Middle School.

2015 Career Day

SMS will host an annual Career Day for the students at Severiville Middle School on Friday, May 15th.  If you would be interested in helping with Career Day, please contact Ginger Dixon or Kim Graybeal.

8th Grade Graduation


Date: May 22, 2015
Place: SMS Gym

SMS would like to congratulate our 8th grade students on their upcoming graduation.  Students who are eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony need to complete the following stipulations:
1) Fulfill all 8th grade requirements
2) Be promoted rather than placed in 9th grade
3) Have NO outstanding charges for lunch, books, or property damages.

Students participating in the graduation ceremony will also need to follow the school dress code - for further information, please speak with Mrs. Loveday and/or Mrs. Monroe.

Students will need to be at SMS by 6:30 pm.

Immunization for 7th graders

Students going into the 7th grade for the 2014-2015 school year must have an updated immunization record on file with the school before students will be placed in a homeroom.  If you have any questions or concerns about this, please contact the school at

Reminder

Cinch Totes must be clear or mesh.  This is for security reasons.  Cinch Totes can be purchased at Wal-Mart or SMS.

The "Cave" will NOT be available during the school day!
